The AFMR has organized symposia for Experimental Biology since 2005. EB is a multidisciplinary, scientific meeting covering fields of study that include anatomy, biochemistry, investigative pathology, molecular biology, nutrition, pharmacology, and physiology, amongst others. The meeting is comprised of nearly 14,000 scientists and exhibitors representing 6 sponsoring societies and over 30 guest societies. The AFMR is a guest society of the American Physiological Society (APS). The conference is open to all members of the sponsoring and guest societies, as well as nonmembers with an interest in research and the life sciences.
